This Kagenaar is a lovely example of why this style of Dutch Barge is so popular in the UK, with low airdraft and very shallow draft, they are ideal for our waterways and give you the natural light so often missing from other boats.
The boat has been extremely well looked after on the outside and benefits from an excellent, newly fitted engine with less than 1000 hours of use. She (predictably) starts first time and is lovely and responsive making the boat simple to drive even if you are new to this. There’s the added benefit of a bow thruster too.
The paintwork on the exterior is also in fantastic condition and the canvas covers around the wheelhouse are also relatively new. Inside, there’s some work to do to make her a home, but with so much already in place outside, you’re off to a great start.
The hull is in great shape and we encourage you to confirm this with a survey, we will lift the boat for free to accommodate this. The hull has been recently painted with new anodes.
As an import, there is no BSS but we can help you organise this. We can deliver anywhere in the UK for a fee or you can cruise away from the marina on the Grand Union canal, we’re around three days cruise from Central London. There is no mooring offered with this boat.
