Built in 1977 with an excellent Lister engine, this 38ft narrowboat is adorable and practical. If it’s your first time, she’ll be gentle with you.
She’s easy to steer and moor and the engine is in lovely running order with a new propeller and reconditioned gearbox. There are potentially years of trouble-free boating ahead of you. The hull is in lovely condition and we urge you to confirm this with a survey; we will even lift the boat for free to accommodate this.
You’ll be cosy on board with the Montrose wood burner and hot water comes from an instant gas heater. The batteries are topped up with solar, additionally you can plug into shore power.
We can organise the BSS, there is no survey and there is no mooring offered with this boat although hard-standing may be available subject to availability.
We will lift the boat for free for your surveyor and we will include most welding recommendations within the asking price.
Blacking and anodes will be done after survey, included in the asking price.
